Recluse pocket holster for Guardian

Anybody heard of the Recluse pocket holster? They make them for the Guardian and other models. Apparently they secure the gun and block the trigger with a trigger-guard insert mounted into the holster.

I'd like to see the holster in person to satisfy myself that you cannot catch the trigger on the trigger block as you push the gun in. It's unlikely to be an issue with a Guardian as the trigger pull is so heavy you'd rip the holster first

but on other makes, I'm not sure it's a plus.

I had a Recluse holster for my S & W Bodyguard. I liked it. You don't push the pistol into the holster, you lay it in yet the pistol could be removed quickly. It was absolutely secure. Too bad I didn't like the Bodyguard so well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Recluse holster. Odd-looking but it works.

I think I'm going to try a Recluse holster for my DB9. I'll report back if I like it. They have one that also stores an extra magazine next to the gun. Should be interesting.

I ended up ordering the Recluse holster for my DB9. I got the one with the extra magazine. I also got an extra two-magazine holster for the other pocket.

Since they weren't in stock, total time will be about 3 weeks, so I'm hoping to get them next week sometime. I'm hoping I really like them, but you know, leather is always a shoot or miss. I have lots of leather stashed away that didn't please me. :-/

I personally like a holster that I can reholster into .. this seems like a two handed operation to re-holster safely

But I'll stay tuned and see what you think of yours

I like reholsering, too. But the time that I'm going to be spending reholstering compared to the time spent carrying is probably miniscule. If I need to reholster, slipping it back into a pocket is going to be sufficient.

Well, it's been a month now since I ordered. I'm not sure I'd recommend ordering from these guys at this point. This is getting rather ridiculous.

FINALLY got my recluse holster for my DB9. I like it. It holds an extra magazine and I also got a double magazine holder, for a total of 25 rounds. I'll get some pics later.

My DB9 fits great into it, even with the compensated barrel, which I was concerned about.
